The Top 10 Reasons A Professional Blogger Should Write your Blogs

By now, everyone knows that fresh, high quality and relevant blog posts can really develop your brand recognition, credibility and of course, SEO potential.  Here are 10 reasons why you should get a professional blogger to write your blogs for you:

ONE: Quality Blogs – Quality Traffic – High quality blogs produce high quality traffic.  A professional blogger knows how to attract human visitors with engaging, captivating and relevant blog articles.  If your website gets a lot of unique visitors but isn’t converting those visitors into business, a blog can improve this situation.

TWO: Cost Effectiveness – Your time is valuable and the time you take to write your blog articles could be better spent doing other essential activities.  A good quality blogger can produce 300-500 words for around £25.  How much does it cost you to write a sizzling, SEO-ready 500-word blog article?  Daily or Weekly blog writing can become a real chore, not so to the professional blog writer.

THREE: Build Brand Feeling – Blogging is considered to be one of the most effective ways of building brand feeling.  An experienced blog writer will help you to develop a solid brand feeling through your regular blog postings.

FOUR:   Writing in Confidence
– When you hire a blogger, they don’t advertise the fact that you aren’t writing the blog. Instead, you build your credibility without having to worry about doing any of the writing.

FIVE: Expertise – Successfully integrating their knowledge of SEO into your blogs, a blogger won’t just write a fascinating, fun or informative blog article, but they’ll also give it the SEO boost it needs to give you the Search Engine rankings edge.  A professional blogger will be experienced in WordPress and be able to publish the blog directly to your website.

SIX: Integrate with the rise of Social Media – Social Media from Facebook to Free Index, YouTube and BT Tradespace, can all be used to develop your profile online and promote your business.  By integrating blog articles with Social Media, a professional blogger will increase the speed of the rise of your online profile.

SEVEN:  Follow the Experts – If you’re a leader in your field, you don’t have time to write your own blogs.  That’s why many experts choose a professional blog writer to create their daily/weekly blog entries.  Enjoy the boost in credibility and increase in personal brand feeling without having to type a word.

EIGHT:  Boost Your Credibility - These days credibility is built online by giving away your expertise for free.  A weekly blog answering some essential questions relating to your business area can position you as a leading light in your field of expertise.

NINE: Interaction – Blogs encourage direct interaction with your customers and clients, current and potential.  A professional blogger simply creates articles that provoke comments and questions from these clients and you provide the detailed feedback to those making comments.

TEN:  Outward Direction – A professional blogger will ensure that you don’t write solely about yourself.  Because the effective use of blogging as a business tool is that you should write about a range of subjects that might of interest to clients.  By using a third party, you can ensure that your blogs aren’t self-centred.

Hiring a blogger doesn’t have to expensive, save time and enjoy the rich benefits of blogs, without the hassle of having to put down the words each week.  Of course, we know some people love spending all of their free time writing their blog articles, but for those that don’t, there are professional bloggers.

Writing to Lose Money

There are some fantastic ways that you can lose money when you’re working on the Internet.

I would like to introduce you to a word or two that will really help you lose money when you’re writing on the Internet.  I’ll introduce you to these words in the hope that you stay away from them:

PRICE/FEE/CHARGE/COST: The further up your page you find these fellows, the quicker that your reader is likely to do a runner.  This IS the information that your reader is really wanting to know, but the longer you spend expanding on the benefits and features, the more ready they will be to receive the final number.  Keep these words off your pages as much and as long as possible.

GUARANTEE: It’s a word I’ve used myself but I’m willing to admit that it’s entirely foolish.  Nothing is guaranteed.  The psychology is that your reader needs a guarantee in order to  avoid risk.  You can tell them that there’s a guarantee if you like, but let’s face it, it’s fairly obviously, the only guarantee in life is death, oh and tax.

TRY:
As David Mamet says ‘I’ll Try Is Preparing to Fail’.  don’t try to do anything. Trying is admitting that you can fail.  If you write ‘Try’ anywhere on your copy, it will look weak and sloppy.  Don’t do it.

Stay away from these words and you’ll lose less money.

Merry Christmas

Hi – I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year! Mark Westbrook

Writing your Blog – Five Top Tips for Blogging

Writing a daily blog is a very rewarding task for many reasons.  It also has various positive applications for business.

Blogging can offer personal satisfaction about reflecting on our experiences.   Blogs offer us the opportunity to publish and disseminate our ideas throughout the world via the Internet.  Blogging also clearly has business applications.  For instance, blogs can help to add credibility for you in your subject area.  This can be peer-to-peer credibility, or company to customer/client credibility.  Furthermore, blogging that takes into account various Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) writing strategies can have an constructive influence on the volume of traffic that visits your website.

These are my Five Top Tips for Writing your Blog:

TIP ONE: Blog Keywords – When you’re writing a blog, you need to consider what the keywords are going to be used for that day’s blog post.  It’s important not to drench the blog in the same keyword over and over, but by using the term in fascinating and well-written text, you won’t disturb the flow.

My top tip on keywords is to focus on the natural SEO that is created by an excellent blog post, rather than worrying about stuffing enough keywords into your blog.

TIP TWO:  Blog Frequency – If you want to make your blog successful, then blog often.  Daily is best, but if not, a couple of times per week.  The more frequently that you create interesting, relevant blogs, the greater the potential traffic you will receive to your website.  Obviously, don’t write for the sake of writing, you still need to have something to say!

TIP THREE: Blog Length – Recent research has concluded that web readers will stay focused on average for 96 seconds, roughly a minute and a half.  So make your blog to the point and snappy and place the most relevant information at the beginning of the blog.   I would advise that your blog posts are no longer than 600 words and no fewer than 300 words.

TIP FOUR:  One Blog Post One Topic – Keep it simple.  Discuss one topic per blog post so as to keep your readers focused on a single issue.  If you confuse them with lots of divergent discussions, they are unlikely to keep reading and less likely to return to your blog again.

TIP FIVE: Blog and Domain Name – Choosing the right blog and domain name is vital.  Domain and Blog names are issues of branding.   You should take the naming as seriously as you would the branding of any company, product or service.   Remember, your blog can be read by the world, so be aware of the image that you are projecting with your domain name, your blog name and what you write in it. Choose something distinctive, but most importantly relevant!

Stealing

I’ve recently found my articles on another website, where they’ve removed words and placed irrelevant anchor text into the article. I guess I knew it would happen, but it sucks.

Content is not King!

The phrase ‘Content is King’ has become a mantra for the successful Internet Marketeer and the black-hat SEO consultant alike. It has fuelled my own business and provided me with countless opportunities to connect with individuals and businesses in the UK and Europe, all seeking an advantage over the competition through impressive article content and attractive copy.

I run a creative business that produces both article content and web copy. What’s the difference? Content is generally designed to produce traffic, to bring people to your website. Copy is designed to make the customer click ‘buy’. The difference isn’t subtle, but it is vital.

Quantity vs. Quality

Generally copy equates to quality and content equates to quantity. In the world of SEO web content and copy, that’s just how it plays.

I want to change this. I want a revolution of quality. Content can be high quality, copy can be produced in quantity. High quality copy-style content can be produced in volume. We shouldn’t be filling the Internet, this amazing research resource with meaningless drivel. Paying some computer literate English-speaking writer in the Third World to produce semi-English articles at $1 per page is not helpful, it is content, but it is the lowest quality copy that might get a click, but is unlikely to make a sale. Content generates leads, copy produces sales.

You can employ a so-called SEO expert who doesn’t use writers, they just take articles and put them through the article blender, they use content re-writing software that takes in someone else’s articles and churns them out as article-garbage at the other end. However, if you want customers and not just clicks, you need an article writer. If you want clients you need a content writer to write the articles that will draw their attention to you. Real SEO experts know:

Content is not King. Quality Content is King.

Employing a professional content writer is an investment in increased traffic and sales. It’s more than just raising your ranked position on Google, although that is very important. It’s also about connecting with and effectively communicating with the potential customer or client. It’s sharing an idea, a vision, a service, benefit or product with someone who could gain from what you have to offer. Sharing the benefits by using professional quality content writers means articulating those benefits in an attractive and appealing way that informs the client and educates them about your product or services. It’s not just bringing the horse to water; it’s encouraging it to drink at the same time. If you want the customer or client to search, click and buy from you in one action -

Superior Content is King.

5 Easy Things You Can Do Online To Help Your Business Today

1. Blogging
Blogging is a great way to build a following with new and current clients or customers. Show them the inner workings of your business, and they’re likely to be intrigued and want to know more. People buy from people, the more they feel that they are getting some insider knowledge, the better they feel connected to you, your brand and company. Anyone can write a blog, it’s straightforward and effective. The trouble is that blogging is time consuming and for people who aren’t comfortable with expressing themselves through words, it can be daunting.

2. Article Marketing
Article Marketing is a simple way of getting your business promoted across the web. You simply write an informative article about something related to your business area, and when people search for keywords on Google or the other Search Engines, your Articles come up. Article Marketing helps your SEO power and boosts your credibility too. Develop a large enough collection of articles and consider publishing your own e-Book on the topic, now there’s further credibility for your business.

3. Web Content
People come to your website, but they don’t stay? It’s probably due to the fact that they don’t like what they see. Let’s not talk about design (although that’s a major factor), but the web content, particular on the landing page is essential. It needs to hook new customers and help them to see your website as a viable place to make their purchases or buy their services today.

4. Auto-Responders
The ability to deliver your message directly into your customer’s inbox is a powerful tool. Produce a series of useful and informative auto-responders, don’t push the sales message. These messages work best when people get used to reading them each week, not deleting them because they’re full of heavy sales pressure. Find an intriguing involvement device to get people to leave their details. BUT ensure that there’s a double opt-in on receiving the emails to ensure your readers make a commitment.

5. Free Sites
There are several free sites available where you can list yourself with varying volumes of content. On Squidoo, you can create a Lens, a fusion of pictures, text and links that’s known to be loved by Google. BT Tradespace offers a remarkably free trading platform for businesses. Write blogs and articles, add links, use podcasts or video, plus the option display products or services and sell them from the BT Tradespace area.

These are 5 very easy ways that you can raise your online profile and start seeing traffic flowing regularly to your website. If you need help producing blogs, articles, web content or auto-responder messages, why not speak to mark@writingengine.co.uk or visit us
